Overview

Lockd ("we", "our", or "the app") is a secure personal vault application designed to store your IDs, cards, and passwords. Your privacy is our top priority. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

What We DO NOT Collect

• We do not collect any personal information
• We do not have access to your stored IDs, cards, or passwords
• We do not track your individual usage or behavior
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties

What Stays On Your Device

All your data, including:

• ID documents
• Card information
• Passwords
• App settings

...is stored exclusively on your device using industry-standard encryption. Your data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server.

Data Security

• Encryption: All vault data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
• Biometric Protection: Access is protected by Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode
• Local Storage Only: No cloud sync, no remote servers, no external access
• No Backdoors: Even we cannot access your data

Face ID / Touch ID

Lockd uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework to verify your identity. Biometric data is:

• Processed entirely by Apple's Secure Enclave
• Never accessed or stored by Lockd
• Never transmitted anywhere

In-App Purchases

When you purchase Lockd Pro:

• Payment is processed entirely by Apple
• We receive only a transaction confirmation
• We do not receive your payment details

Backup & Export

When you export a backup:

• The backup file is encrypted
• You control where it's saved
• We have no access to your backups

Children's Privacy

Lockd does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help us improve the app. These services collect:

• Anonymous app usage events (e.g., which features are used)
• Crash reports and performance data
• Basic device information (device model, OS version)

Important: This data is completely anonymous and never includes your vault contents, personal information, or any data you store in Lockd. We use this solely to fix bugs and improve the app experience.
