Terms of Use for Lockd

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lockd ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Lockd is a personal vault application that allows you to securely store IDs, cards, and passwords on your device. The App is designed for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Sell, rent, or sublicense the App
• Remove any proprietary notices from the App

4. In-App Purchases

4.1 Lockd Pro

The App offers a one-time purchase ("Lockd Pro") that unlocks unlimited storage for IDs, cards, and passwords.

4.2 Payment

• All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
• Prices are displayed in your local currency
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account

4.3 Refunds

• No refunds will be provided for completed purchases
• By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have opted for the service voluntarily
• We do not process refunds directly

4.4 Restore Purchases

You can restore previous purchases on any device signed into the same Apple ID using the "Restore Purchase" option in the App.

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of data you store in the App.

5.2 Device Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device
• Keeping your device passcode confidential
• Protecting access to Face ID / Touch ID

5.3 Backups

You are responsible for creating and maintaining backups of your data. We strongly recommend using the App's export feature regularly.

5.4 Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the App to store:

• Illegal or fraudulent information
• Data that infringes on others' rights
• Malicious content

6. Data and Privacy

6.1 Local Storage

All data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your stored information.

6.2 No Recovery

Because data is stored only on your device with encryption:

• We cannot recover lost data
• We cannot reset your access
• We cannot retrieve forgotten information

6.3 Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 "As Is" Basis

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

7.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected
• The App will meet your specific requirements

7.3 Security

While we implement strong encryption and security measures, no system is 100% secure. We do not guarantee absolute security against all threats.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indielabs and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Modifications

10.1 To the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

10.2 To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms
• Is harmful to other users or third parties
• Is fraudulent or illegal

12. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Indielabs and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

13. Third-Party Services

The App uses Apple's services for:

• Face ID / Touch ID authentication
• In-app purchase processing

Your use of these features is subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation
2. If unresolved, binding arbitration

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Indielabs regarding the App.
